this is just a rant about our current healthcare situation in america.
what really needs to be done to fix the problem is to truely recognize the real fault of the system.

here is my case. i do not have health insurance nor am able to afford it and am currently on unemployment. i recently found myself in the local emergancy room for at the time what i thought was a ruptured appendix, but after a few tests they determined i was trying to pass a 3mm kidney stone and i had a bladder infection. i was there for exactly 4 hours from the time i left my house til the time i returned, i had not passed the stone and was given perscriptions for pain, and some antiboitics, and sent home to pass the stone.
now it has been a month now and still haven't passed the stone, my bladder is still messed up and now there are a few other things happening. i tried to get an appiontment with a specialist but i am unable to because of the lack of insurance. i just recieved my bills for the time i was at the hospital (4 freaking hours), they total close to $4,200.

where is the justice in that, what am i to do?
